Source of weapons for these terrorists

Indians are contemplating the role of Pakistan in this event. We are trying to establish the link between the Pak operative LeT and the Mumbai attacks. What I keep wondering is from where do these organizations get their ammunitions? We all know that USA is aiding Pakistan presently for its fight against terrorism and Taliban. But USA has supported Pakistan since ever (post cold war). It is an established fact that the armaments used by Pakistan during all the wars with India were directly acquired from the US without having to pay a single penny, and much of that was done secretly (until now). So is Pakistan using the same weaponry in its proxy war against India. Who is the source of this weaponry? Because the source is the actual culprit. I am sure that these terrorist do not use home grown weapons, they buy it from open markets of weapons. So who is providing them weapons. From where does Pakistan get so much weapons for these terrorists?

and for sure the links will finally point to the elite rescuers of our world (read America).

but... what's the point?

The point is we are just feeling dangered by our known enemies, but those working behind the scene are sitting peacefully. America is a big reason behind trouble in many African countries, in yesteryear's Soviet Union (plus Asia) and during cold war period in Central Europe. Their commercial interests are the main cause of terrorism and civil wars at many places in this world. Its America who has to be stopped first. Pakistan is a mere scapegoat.

I am just putting a logical answer to the question raised. I hope I do not hurt the sentiments behind the post.

AK-47 as opposed to popular belief is not a Russian rifle. The designer of the assault rifle was a Russian, and its popularity is attributed to the fact that the weapon has a very simple design. So AK-47 should be attributed as a design rather than a physical rifle. The design is so simple that it can be manufactured by a mere lathe machine and common tools.

Read more about it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khyber_Pass_Copy

And the wiki article on AK-47:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK-47

It needs more than stopping the supply chain of armaments to stop terrorism.

I agree that the weaponry could be home grown, but they seem to use sophisticated weapons, and not just AK-47s.

Ok, deviating a little from the topic, consider LTTE, from where did they get enough money to build a navy superior than that of Sri Lankan government.

I am trying to highlight the fact that most of the armed movements have certain groups backing who are not interested in the actual cause. Their involvement is only due to their commercial or political interests. And I smell America at the bottom of everything in such cases.
